WAVERLEY TOWN BOARD
ORDINARY MEETING. The usual monthly meeting of Ike WaAerley Town Board was bold on Tuesday evening. The following were present;- —Alessrs. R. P. Palmer (-chair), A. J. Adlam, S. J. Taylor, W. P. Wallace, W. Wicks, and J. E. Palmer (clerk). A deputation of ladies from the Piuukct Society and kindred institutions waited on the board Avith a view to soliciting the help of the board in the matter of erecting a suitable building in Waverley to accommodate the needs of the various Avomen’s institutions of the district. It avus decided that the board call a public meeting Avithin the next tAvo weeks to consider the ladies’ proposals. Several matters of a routine nature Avcrc dealt with, including correspondence front the Health Department and Alain Higlrwgys Board, Accounts totalling £29 5s lid Avcrc read and passed for payment, and the board then rose.
