The story of how a young North of 1 rel'and immigrant, had forced a beach .full of llikutaia settlers to accompany him to an hotel and have a. drink til the point of a revolver, was told at the Thames Police Court the other day, when Andrew Bailey, aged 21, a. Salvation Army immigrant, faced seven charges in connection with the possession of an unregistered firearm, and one of ass'ault. After bearing (ho police story that Bailey merely thought himself a youthful desperado when in drink, Air. .F. W. Platts, S.AL convicted him on all charges and ordered him to come up for sentence any time within n year. .Mo was also prohibited.
