THE PROGRAMME. The following is the programme to be rendered by the Hawera Choir of 50 voices on Tuesday, 7th inst.; — Part Songs: (a) “Spring Song; ” (b) “Moonlight and Music,“ by the choir. Song, ‘‘ My Little Irish Girl, ’ ’ Mr. Piper. Duet, “Arise, 0 Sun,“ Mrs. Tozer and Miss Spurdle. Song, selected, Miss Griudrod. Trombone Quartette, “Rosamund,” Messrs. Pearce, Crowder, Pranks, and Crouchcr. Recitation, selected, Miss Instone. Song, ’ selected, Mr. E. Paccy. Chorus, “For Thee, 0 Dear, Dear, Country,'’ by the choir. Humorous song, “Eat More Fruit,” Mr. McFadyen. Quartette [(vocal), selected, Mrs. Tozer, Miss Spurdle, Mr. Squire, and Mr. Wills. Song and ukulele, selected, Mr. Carter. Stories, Rev. E. S. Emmitt, M.C. Song, by request, “The Bassoon.” Anthem, “Sun of My Soul,” and hymn, “Sandon, ” by the choir. The last two items are tests with which the choir won first - prize at the recent Eltham (Competitions.
