“DAMAGED GOODS.'” SHOWING TO-NIGHT. The film version of Brieux’s “Damaged Goods,” which has caused much controversy, will be screened in the Town Hall to-night. The story contains some very forcible examples of how youthful indiscretions lead up to tragic happenings of many lives. The deepest impression that the film story makes is the indictment against society denouncing the victimised woman; at the same time the aim is not to parade evil that good may come of it, but to reveal those pitfalls .which beset the path of the young man or woman entering tho worldly struggle without that valuable knowledge of evil that should have been imparted to them by their parents. The censor has certified that fho audiences must bo split up. Persons under 10 years of age are not admitted. Tho picture will be supported by the feature “White Flannels.”
