WAVERLEY SCHOOL COMMITTEE.

MONTHLY MEETING. The ordinary monthly meeting of tho Waverley School Committee was held last night, Mr. G. P. Spratt presiding. Messrs. Southcombc, Wicks, Christensen, Aiken, JY Cave (;Aeretary), and Browning (headmaster) were also present. The .minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. The headmaster reported that at present there -were 202 pupils on tho roll, tho numbers showing a slight falling o'? from those of last month, owing to illness.

Accounts totalling £S 10s Sd were ■read and passed for payment. Arrangements in connection with the forthcoming bazaar in aid of the school funds were fully discussed, and it was resolved that the chairman meet all ladies interested at the Town Board room. The meeting then rose.
