SYDNEY RAT CATCHERS
RODENTS COST 12s 6d A HEAD,
For the year 1926 the rat-catching department of the Sydney City Council cost £4723. It constantly employed 9 expert catchers, who set 47,000 traps and caught 3800 rats at a coat to the council of 13s 6d per head.
