Now designs for tho 'monument which is to be erected at Point Halswell in memory of the late .Mr, W. F. The committee consists of the Prime Minister, the Speakers of both Houses of the Legislature, the Chief Justice, and a member of the late Mr. Massey’s family. Originally it iwiais suggested that tho memorial should be a replica of the New Zealand memorial at Chunuk Bair, but this did not meet with general approbation.
