VEHICLE ABLAZE OX LOAD. lire destroyed one of Gibson’s mail omnibuses employed on the New Plymouth to Opuuake service, about a mile and a-half from Opunake on Thursday night last. Though it was not thought back-firing was responsible, Haloes suddenly burst from under the floor ami the big bus was soon ablaze. The vehicle, which was a 28-soatcr, was insured but it is believed the firm will be a heavy loser.
