DOG TRIALS. AIR. SCOTT’S GREAT TEAM. At (he recent Jog trial-, Air. Alursden Scott uns the winner of Mr. P. R. Painter’s special gold medal for best team work with Paddy, heading dog, and Boy and King, huntaways. Ineidenta.ly Air. Scot t has every reason to be gratified at the results'"of the trials, the judge commenting very favourably on the work of the dogs throughout the meeting. Besides securing Air. Palmer’s spec.al gold medal Air. Scott also secured the majority of trophy prizes, and in the long head and holding ring Mr. Scott was the only man to complete this course with three .dogs. In class ■>, with two dogs, he was awarded 52A and 5(5 out of a possible 60 points, and in class 3, with three dogs competing, he was awarded *4.1, '57, and 34 out of a possible 50. Air. Scott’s performance should be a great incentive to younger members of the club, as shotting what can be attained by careful training and patience with their dogs. Wc wish Air. Scott the same measure of success at future Dog Trial Club meetings.
