PATEA SCHOOL COMMITTEE

ORDINARY MEETING The ordinary monthly meeting of the Patea School Committee was held on Monday, Mr. E. C, Wood presiding. Messrs. Papps, Scott, and Hemingway w ere also present. Mr. Scott, on behalf of the Mohawk Minstrels, tendered his thanks to the committee and headmaster unci children of the school for assisting in the matfor of sale of tickets for the Rest Room entertainment. The chairman brought forward the question of re-gravelling the school yard. The matter of cutting the grass in the avenue during the holidays was loft in the chairman’s hands. It was decided to procure the necessary material for improving the tenuis court. Accounts were read and passed for payment and the committee rose.
