CURE OF TUBERCULOSIS
SPAH LINGE u A VACCINE. IMM UNIGATION CLAIMED. ‘DISEASE CAN EE STAMPED OUT’ After tests checked by State officials, under which it is chained that heifers treated with his bovine vaccine resisted the most virulent tuberculosis germs, while those not vaccinated died in 10 days, Dr. G pah Tinger suggests that tuberculosis in cattle can be stumped out if all calves are iuuoculated at birth. This would lead to the stamping out of the disease among human beings also. In the House of Commons, the Hon. W. E. Guinness told Mr. P. A. Hurd he had no knowledge regarding the G.pahiinger bovine vaccine tests beyond the Press reports. An official committee created in Ith'-i- to make tests was then unable to obtain vaccine from Dr. ypahlinger. The committee was still ex i stunt, but he was unable to say whether it was prepared again to take up tests.
