Believing that the more effective attack on the war menace is by education, an unknown, donor in Chicago offer* £SOOO to the man or woman who devises the best plan of teaching the children of at nations to hate and oppose war. 'The details of the proposals arc to be given on Wednesday at a convention in Chicago of 12,000 teachers of the National Educational Association. Anyone is eligible to submit a plan in writing, not to exceed 5000 word?. Plans must bo sent to Dr Thomas, at Augusta, Maine, by July Ist, this £eSr.
