The. arrangements wore curried out without a hitch of any kind, and collected the greatest credit on the committee and officials concerned. The opening meeting of the Patea Coursing Club was commenced at the Plumpton Enclosure, Whennakura, yesterday, in the presence ol; a large concourse of spectators, who expressed Doth surprise and admiration at the excellent course proivded and the completeness of the arrangements made.
