RESULTS
The. arrangements wore curried out without a hitch of any kind, and collected the greatest credit on the committee and officials concerned. The course was in first-class order, the immense amount of work,that had been put in being quite a revelation to the visitors. The following were the day’s results: — FJRST ROUND Ist Heat. —Mr A. The opening meeting of the Patea Coursing Club was commenced at the Plumpton Enclosure, Whennakura, yesterday, in the presence ol; a large concourse of spectators, who expressed Doth surprise and admiration at the excellent course proivded and the completeness of the arrangements made. 'inere were a large number of entries, and some iirst-class spoil: was witnessed, the meeting being most successful irom every point of view. .
