The usual monthly committee meeting of the above was held in the Town Board Boom on Friday, Mr C. E. .Johnston presiding. Alsu present: Mosers H. Catanaeh, J. Boss, L. Wales, W. Alexander, A. Gr. Wallace, A. E Gymes J. Proviso and F. Kingsford (secretary). The minutes of previous meeting wore read and continued.

Headquarters wrote forwarding £ls, being Waverley’s portion of Poppy funds for relief of unemployed oxsoldiers.

A copy of the War Pensions Amendment Act, 1923, was road and receivei. The secretary reported ..that the approximate profit on the dance was £32. Mr Kingsford, on -behalf of the Dance Committee, moved that a hearty vote of thanks bo accorded the ladies- for their valnabc assistance in connection with the dance. {Seconded by Mr C. E. Johnston and carried.
