ABERDEEN ANGUS HEIFERS "WELLINGTON, August 31. A valuable present of ten Aberdeen Angus heifers and "a stud bull of the same breed has been made by Mr Frank Armstrong, of Akitio, to the Government. Announcing the gift last night, Mr W. Glenn (Eangitikei), through whom the donation was made to the Government, said that the bull was a very valuable one. His sire was purchased as a calf in Scotland for £IOOO, and a full brother was sold to the Argentine for £6OOO. The Prime Minister said that he had convoyed the thanks of the Government to Mr Armstrong for his gift. The Minister of Agriculture, in reply to cpiostions, said it was intended to send the bull to the Weraroa State Farm, ■ C?
