PATEA SCHOOL COMMITTEE Tilc ordinary meeting oi' the Patca School Committee was held on Tuesday, the liev. Win. Watson presiding. Messrs King, Hemingway, Moore and Carey were also present. Correspondence was read from the education Board, notifying that the architect had been instructed to rebuild the shelter shed. The board also wrote, notifying that the resignation of Mr T. A. MacMahon had been accepted. Mr King reported that he had visited the school, and found that the tanks needed repairing. Some firewood was also needed. 'The latter was left to Mr Moore to attend to. Mr Hemingway undertook to draw the attention of the architect to the matter of the tanks. 'The matter of the school concert was left in the hands of the headmaster to arrange for. The matter of disposing of the potatoes was left in the chairman’s hands. Mr Watson was appointed a Visiting Committee for the month. Accounts were read and passed for payment, and the committee rose.
