HUN,T CLUB RACES AT HAWERA, On 23rd August train stopping where required leaves Wanganui 5.45 a.m., Waitotara 7t40, Waverley 8.9, Patda 8.55, Hawera 10.20, Hawera Racecourse arrive 10.25 a.m. Return train leaves Racecourse 4.30 p.m. and connects with usual 4.50 train from Hawera. Usual 7.25 a.m. train from Wanganui stops at Hawera, Race. Course to set down passengers. Usual S.l a.m. train Patea to Hawera will NOT run. PATEA COUNTY COUNCIL, TO CONTRACTORS. Tenders addressed to the County Engineer will be received at the County Offices, Patea up to 9 a.m. on Friday 25th August, 1922 for the following— CONTRACT No. 137 —Unloading and carting metal ' Waverley course Station to Factory Hill. Specifications may be seen or obtained from the County Engineer, Patea. Tenderers to state the quantity per day they can handle. * The lowest or any tender not necessarily received. G. W.
