ANNUAL CONFERENCE. WAVERLEY BRANCH REMITS. The following remits from the Waver! ey branch of the New Zealand Far. mors’ Union will be considered at the annual conference of the Wellington Provincial District to be held next week.—

L. That all wool be paid for on the net weight. 2. That fanners be allowed to give evidence in all arbitration cases which directly or indirectly affect their inter, ests.

3. That farmers be allowed to deduct any losses (throughout the year’s operations fro mtheid investments.

4. That a substantia] reduction be made in the valuations of all agricultural and pastoral land in New Zealand and that the War Tax be abolished.
