NOTES

Mr and Mrs Beswick have a notice of thanks in this issue. Cricketers and other sportsmen in this district will be sorry to leant that Mr Bradmorc, manager of the local branch of the Bank of Australasia, will be leaving next month for Wanganui where he will act as manager for some nine months whilst the present manager is absent on furlough. During his stay in this district Mr Bradmorc, by his unfailing courtesy and tact and true sportsmanlike conduct, both on and off the field of play, has made for himself a host of friends, who, whilst regretting his departure, will be more than pleased to learn of his well deserved promotion.
