Firemen Goo. ’Willis, W. Sodginan, and Secretary Carey, of the local Fire Brigade, left by the mail drain yesterday for Napier, where they will compete in itbc United Fire Brigades Association’s Demonstration. This will be the first demonstration to be held by the Association since the war. The many friends of Or. Godfrey will bo glad to learn that he lias recovered sufficiently from his recent illness to enable him to leave the hospital. Though still somewhat weah, he is making good progress towards recovery.
