WAR MEMORIAL.

A moot ins;' of residents ot Patea and district is to be held in the Town Hall on Tuesday next, at 7.30 p.m., for the purpose of further considering the question of n War Memorial for Patea. It is clue to the men from this district who have laid down their lives in the cause of liberty and justice that some public, memorial of the sacrifice that they have made should be erected, and we "hope to see as many as possible in attendance. All returned soldiers, for the sake, of their fallen comrades, should make a special point of being present.
