The subject then dropped. The secretary submitted an estimate >f the cost of a memorial gateway proposed to be erected at: the entrance to die sports ground at the intersect ion of ! 'yinon!. and Surrey Streets. After a brief discussion it was de■ided that the chairman and iM r. 1 rents interview the ’Borough Council ■a the mat ter al its next meeting.
