One of the most successful gather

ings held in connection with the Church for some time took place in the Sunday School room on Wednesday evening when a largo number of parishioners foregathered at the first of a series of social gatherings that the Vestry have decided to hoTd.

A most enjoyable programme was carried out and judging by the unstinted applause bestowed the items were greatly appreciated by one and all. The following contributed to the programme : Ducts, Mrs. Shield and Miss A. Horner ; recitations, Mr. and Mrs. F. G. Davics, Misses F. Boagey and M. Glenny ; Miss A. Horner, Messrs Johnson, Harding and Haworth.
