'The only goods that will be transported by rail will be : Live stock required by butchers for slaughter to meet local consumption. Foodstuffs, such as meats (fresh and preserved), fish, bread, flour, sugar, jam, tea, coffee, etc. Milk, cream, butter and cheese. Frozen meat and wool consigned direct to ships for shipment. Household requisites, such as kerosene, soap, lamps, brushwaro, etc. Household furniture and effects of persons moving. Coal and firewood. Grain (for immediate gristing), potatoes and other vegetables, fruit. Benzine and other motor spirits. Lime and manures for agricultural purposes, consigned direct to farmers, and chaff for feeding live stock ; but the quantities must in every instance be limited to the minimum to cover bare necessities. Lime, salt, and meat bags for freezing works. Lime for tanneries and gasworks. Posts, stakes, wire, seeds, and agricultural machinery consigned direct to farmers. Returned empties (such as fish boxes, iish casks, butter and cheese boxes, etc) to be used for conveyance of foodstuffs and other essentials ; shooks for making fruit cases, butter boxes, cheese crates, and casks.
