TRIBUTE TO FALLEN SOLDIERS SATURDAY, 19th inst. AT NOON The/public are requested to note that the Tire Brigade and Church of England bells will commeneo ringing on Saturday, ,19th inst. at one minute to 12 noon and will stop at noon exactly, when a Silent Tribute will be paid to the fallen heroes of the Great War. All traffic pedestrian and otherwise—will be suspended for the space of five minutes, and soldiers will stand sit attention until the bells toll a second time notifying that the five minutes have expired. As this great tribute is being paid all over the British Empire at 12 noon on the same day strict observance of this request is asked. N. C. HARDING, General Secretary.
