In response to a recommendation from the householders of Wavcrlcy and district the School Committee have decided to erect a Drinking Fountain as a memorial to the boys who were pupils of the Wavcrlcy School and have fallen in the Great War. Subscriptions arc invited for the above and can be left with’ any- of the following members of the School'Coinmittcc : H. Middleton, S. Bromiley, G. M. Beer, P. C. Paris, T. W. Wall, A. 0. Hemingway, and 0. H. Southcombe (Chairman).
