PATEA BOROUGH COUNCIL

SPECIAL MEETING

A special mooting of the Borough Council was held on Fridaynight for the purpose of adopting the revised electors’ list for the Borough. His Worship the Mayor, Crs Cronin, Hicks, Honoyfield, Davies and Thompson were present. The necessary resolution was moved by Cr Davies, seconded by Cr Cronin and carried, the mover and seconder being authorised to sign the rod with the Mayor and Town Clerk. In reply to Cr Honeyftcld, His Worship said said he intended calling a special meeting of the Council at an early date to consider the question of 3 Peace memorial after he had consulted the Domain Board and the engineers. He would not like to call the public together to consider the matter until he had consulted the Domain Board, the engineers and the Council.
