WEDDING BELLS.
Parsons Stanford. The marriage took place at Sunny Bank, Whenuakura last Wednesday of Miss A. F. Stanford to Mr W. P. Parsons. ’ A large number of friends assembled to witness the ceremony which was performed by the Rev J. Bridgman The bride looked charming wearing the usual veil and orange blossoms, and a beautiful silk drees tyimmed with pearls and lace, and carrying a lovely shower bouquet of asparagus ferns, white ezdeas, shocks and camelias. Mies E. M. 'Stanford dressed in cream and . carry*og a bouquet of yellow chrysanthemums and daises was her attendant, while Mr H Parsons noted as best man. The bouquets were the gifts of Mrs McNaugh'on. The bridegrooms present to the bride was a handsome gold, brooch set with pearls and amethysts as was also his gif'* to the bridesmaid. Tbe gift of the bride te the bridegroom was a set of gold links. . The guests sat down to a daintily arranged wedding breakfast of f er which the following roasts were honoured. “The health and happiness of the bride and bridegroom, ’proposed by the Rev J. Bridgman ; “ The bridesmaid and best man,” by Mr J. Teroplor, Manutabi, and “ Absent friends, ”by Mr H Parsons ; “ Parents of the bridff,” by Mr McTfaughton, and “ the Rev ana Mrs Bridgman,” by Mr Stanford Each toast was suitably acknowledged. The happy couple left by motor eo route for Auckland and Roturoa. The bride wore a handsome brown costume wijh hat to match. The presents were numerous and valuable.
