WAITOTARA.

Mr J Laird, of Waisotara is at present confined to his bed through illness. Cms-able Breen is at away at present on holiday leave. Mr Murray Armstrong, a cadet at the Waito;ara Post Office has been transferred to Wavorley, and his place in tho local office has been filled by a son of Mr W H Woreta. Mr P Train, baa so far recovered from his recent illness as to enable him to move about and he expects to return to business next week. The many friends of Mr and Miss Mckenz : o are meeting in the Town Hall. Waitotara. on Thursday to eay ‘‘Goodbye,” Mr and Miss McKenzie are among the oldest and most esteemed settlers, having settled in Waitotara some 47 years ago.
