High Commissioner's Report. The High Commissioner's market report dated London, Juue 20 is as follows : ' Note. — (Quotations, unless otherwise specified, are average market prices on spot): — Mutton —Market quiet, but no reduction in prices. Canterbury 4§d for light weights, heavy weights Bjfd. North Island 4§d for light weights. Lamb—There is less demand, especially for heavy weights, and prioes slightly declined in all grades as a result of heavy arrivals during the week. Canterbury two's 6Jd, heavy weights s§d; other than J Canterbury 6 3-16 d for best quality. Light weights in small supply. Beef —Market depressed; Quotations for New Zealand beef are nominal. Supplies of American chilled beef are I large. New Zealand hinds 4§d, fore Bfd; chilled hinds fid, fores 3&d. Butter—No alteration in market einoe Danish steady, 115 s to 117 s. New Zealand quiet, 108 sto 112 s. Australian 100 sto 104 b. Siberian in fair demand, 98s to 102 s. Irish creamery 106 s to 110 s. Cheese—Market quiet. Canadian old make quiet, 68a to 70s, new make quiet, white 62s to 635, ooloured 63s to 645. New Zealand quiet, white 64s to 65a, coloured 65s 6d to 665. Hemp—Market continues dull. The New Zealand market is quiet, with prioes slightly weaker, and only a few small sales jat second hand, on a basis of June to J august, shipments at, fair £23 15s, good fair £26. On spot quotations, good fair (£25 10sl0d, fair £23 Wool—Market quiet but firm.
