Latest advices from London state that the butter market is flat owing to heavy supplies coming to hand of colonial makes for the rest of the current month r The muggy weather and the general elections combine to exeit a deadening influence upon the market. Choicest Australasian salted is quoted at 104 s per cwt to 106 s and unsalted 106 sto 1083 ; secondary qualities are quoted at 98s to 100 s. Choicest New Zealand makes rule at 108 s to 110 s, and secondary butters from 100 ato 106 s. Danish prices are unchanged. Cheesa is firm, coloured being in demand at 57s per cwt, and white at 55s to 565.
