New Plymouth 15th. July 1851. Dear Sir, Heale left this morning at 6 with dispatches from Auckland, for Sir George; and a note from me, to you. I write again to say that the French frigate, "L'Almene", 36 guns, was run ashore between Hokianga and Kaipara, in stress of weather, early in June; and that the natives helped themselves to some guns and ammunition; which circumstance fully accounts for yesterday's special messenger.
