The boundary begins at Te Koutu, then runs out to Te Hiwera and continues on to Te Pahuri, Te Purangiora, Rakaipaka, Te Kahikaopurehua, Haukorari, and right out to Te Karereamotuwarangi[?]; then continuing on to Te Wareowehi and to Te Ikaotewaiho, and as far as Te Kanawa, it runs along the river at Waipapa and out to Te Rangitamiao, then continues on to Tuhimata, Te Rerearakairaumoa and Te Ponatewakamu, coming out at Makahakaha, and then running on to Te Waitapu and Takapauhaka, it then runs along the ridge at Oiere, then on to Te Wakangaere, Te Putiki, Te Warekoko, Taumata-o-Morere and, emerging at Ponataua, it then goes on to Rangitamumu, and to Waipapa, to that first[?] river again, then runs on to Te Witau-a-Hineiwakina, Kauteawa, Te Waipatu-kakahu, Te Po, Tara-kokona, and on to the source of Wakatamahine, on out to Te Mania-o-paraheka, and to Taumanuka, and running along the river to Te Waretotara it abuts with the boundaries of the other side. Sir, this land is all open country, one part is in bush, but it is all good land. That's it. From us, from all the Maori.
