The "Governor Grey", Watt, from Whanganui with bricks and timbe Received Warrant of Arrest against Joseph Jenner Merritt for debt and delivered him into the custody of the gaoler. Katherine Stewart Forbes having discharged sailed for Batavia. Mr. Merritt escaped from prison, was taken by the Police and handed over to the gaoler.
