Fairchild tells me that he is to return immediately from Wellington so that will answer very well although I thought was quite prepared to go at any moment. I dont suppose Col. Russell has any more instructions for me than those I have already had - so that it is not worth while writing to him. If there is anything Rolleston will let you know.
