Friday 20th Decr. 1867 My dear Sir I hear from Whitmore that you wish two men to carry round an address to Sir Geo. Grey for signature I have accordingly ordered the bearer of this (Sergeant Scott) a very intelligent man, and another man named Rolostom, to report themselves to you, for orders - I have no doubt that they will do all you wish. This is an awful place nothing but wind or rain all day long. The men are getting on very well with their drill, I am happy to say, and I hope to make them a smart set and creditable to the Province. Wishing you a happy Xmas Believe me Yrs. ever sincerely J. Fraser
