Wanganui September 1st. 1872. My dear Sir, I feel that you will be glad to hear that Mrs. Worgan's health has slightly improved. Under Providence, my return has, I believe. saved her life. That is the opinion of Dr. Epps. It will be many days or weeks before she recovers strength, I am thankful, however, that she is pronounced so far out of danger as to free me to attend to my work, to which my absences in Napier have been a tiresome hindrance. I find things here just as I left them. If the debate terminates on Friday, as predicted, you will, I trust have leisure to attend to matters here for a time. I beg to remain, dear Sir Your obedient servant, (Signed) George H. Worgan. To:- The Hon. D. McLean. P.S. I have held over my intended letter until next mail purposely.
