7 July 1863 Maraekakaho My dear brother Aitkins is going to port on some businesses of his own. I send you a few lines to tell you all is well. I had a letter from Neil Campbell from Otago stateing that he has all the wethers and I am glad of it for I new they were all dilivered. I send you his letter inclosed. I am going down to measure the line of fence. It is done and please send the £25 pound to pay the men. They have made a good fence. In haste hopeing you are all well. I remain your affectionate Alexander McLean [on verso] Please send me Campbell letter. I want to wright him.
