Weber's excuse about the diverged line going over hilly country is simply a , not touse a plainer term. However it is settled now, and though I lose about a couple of hundred pounds by acting as directed by Mr. Gill, it is of course no use to say any more about it, and I won't. I shall however when I have your official letter, apply for the right of pasturage over that part of the road wh. goes through my field so that I may erect gates across it, as the Russells, Newman, Williams and others have done.
