Maraekakaho May 11th My dear Donald I am very much disapointed that you are not with us and I do think it a pitty that you should keep away on account of John and his wife being here as we can easly make room for you all. John is getting stronger every day but I think Jessie in a bad state. Both of them seems to enjoy their visit to the station. Douglas is getting on nicely. He is a charming boy and so good. He quite enjoys a station life. I wish you would send up a few prs of socks, and the makings of two woolen shirts for him. His white shirts are of no good to him up here. I had letters from home. They are all well. Douglas desires me to tell you that you are to come home and not stay so long away. In haste Yr aff. sister Catherine
