Maraekakaho Wednesday My dear Donald I am longing to see you up again but I suppose that you are busy. My dear little boy is not well. He is laid up today with a bad cold. He has not been looking himself for some time now and I feel anxious about him. When the gig goes down for Catherine I am thinking of taking him down for a change and also get something from the Dr which I hope will do him good. He is a darling good child. I know not what I am to do when he goes to school. The sheep shearing seems to be progressing steadily & all going on well. Poor old Archy Maclean got one of his ribs broken and is not able to wash in consequence. I have nothing more to say but that you are soon to come up. I am always yr affectionate Catherine Archy is in great "glee" packing - marking - and keeping count of the wool bales. I suppose it puts him in mind of old times (ship fashion)
