My dear Donald The mail not having gone yesterday I am able to send you a note today. Mr Strang has had a very restless night but Dr Grace reports him better today but I very much question his ever recovering from this attack but you may feel sure everything is done for him that can be done. I got your note from Mr Juke and I am so glad that Annabella is down and God willing I shall soon see you both. Mr Biggs dined with Robert last night. In haste Catherine Sunday morning I do wish the telegraph was in operation. He has never spoken of Douglas nor have I to him as I think it better not to dissturb his mind at prese. Is it not a great blessing that we are home and that I am well and able to be with him.
