Wellington Jany 13th My dear Donald I do hope that you are getting on comfortably and that my boy is properly attended to in his food, his bath at etc etc We shall be up on the 23rd with the Judge. Annabella's joy at meeting with him was most affecting. She is not looking nearly so well as she did when when I left home. She has growen taller but thinner which is not so becoming to her. Poor thing she is not at all well fitted to depend upon herself. You will be glad to see Mr Wilkinson. He spent yesterday evening with us. Mr Strang is quite well and so kind to us. I went to see Mrs Kinross yesterday. She is not very well. Captain Rhodes sent his governess and 2 children to invite us to his house but I only mean to return the call. Annabella joins me in love to Dugie and yourself. Yr affectionate sister Catherine
