Dear Sir, Having just heard that Mr. Hughes of the Waipa is going to Taranaki, I write in haste to thank you for your very great kindness in forwarding to me an English letter from your Post Office. Mr.Hughes will pay you the amount of the postage with many thanks. I am glad to hear that it is your intention to pay us a visit the first time you may visit this neighbourhood I shall look forward with pleasure to your visit. When you see Mr.Rheimenschnider please to inform him that I have been for some months past expecting him to pay us a visit. I sent a horse to meet him at Wawarua, 37 miles distant from here in October last according to the arrangement I made in reply to his note. I remain, Dear Sir, Yours truly, Jno. Morgan. Mr. Macleane.
