QUEEN OF THE CARNIVAL ELECTION HELD AT WANGANUI LAST WEEK—MRS. McGREGOR, who topped the poll with 30,040 votes, while Miss McDonald was second with 38,571 votes. Over £l200 was taken in the election of queen.
