12th, TROUT CAUGHT IN LAKE TAUPO, RECEIVED FROM CAPT, T. RYAN. This fish was pronounced by an epicure to be equal to English salmon. Recently several trout from 15lbs, to 20lbs, have been caught in the Lake.
