The captain’s cabin of the Star of Canada has been purchased by a Gisborne resident, and after the structure, which weighs about 11 tons, had been brought ashore from the wreck, the Borough Council’s steam roller was used, as shown in the photo., to drag the cabin to its new owner’s place of residence.
