The lecture room of the old Cambridge Farmers’ Club building in Duke Street, now used as a board room by Federated Farmers and other bodies. The Club flourished for only seven years, but had an enormous influence on the future of the Waikato and of New Zealand. The portraits round the wall include those of Richard Reynolds, James Runciman, Joseph Gane, John Fisher, and George Clark, all foundation members.
