Y.M.C.A. SOLDIERS’ TEA
Members of the Lower Hutt branch of , the League of Mothers, with the president, Mrs. W. O. Gibb, were the hostesses at the Y.M.C.A. tea for soldiers on Sunday. Mesdames McCallum and Matthews were in charge of the tea arrangements, and Mr. W. 0. Gibb was the chairman.
A party of Maori boys gave items, and others who contributed to gramme were Mesdames.-S. Allright, Millward, Caverhill, Miss Shirley Craigand, and Messrs. Frank Bryant and S. Allright. Members of each of the services expressed thanks .to 1 the hostesses and the entertainers.
