FILM EVENING AT NATIONAL CLUB
Men of the Services thoroughly en joyed a “film evening" at the National Club last night. The club and the men are grateful to Mr. J. L. Men zies. Australian Trade Commissioner, for supplying these films. They .were shown by Mr. Brian Smith. Yesterday Miss T. Peckston (Wellington West) was convener, and for Saturday', night’s tea dance Misses P. Hogg and B. McLaren were hostesses. e
The club was beautifully decorated for the weekend, a “sunshine" effect being achieved by masses of daffodils, sent by friends from Darfield, Carterton. -
